Debit Card Conversion
Debit Card Upgrade
United Consumers Credit Union issued new debit cards. We switched from Mastercard® to Visa®!
- You should have received your new debit card, which came in a plain, white envelope without a UCCU logo. If you haven’t received your card, please call 816-325-6900 and ask for card services.
- If you use your debit card for recurring payments, you’ll need to update your payment information with your service providers (utilities, streaming services, insurance, etc.) once you receive and activate your new card.
- We've added Visa 3-D Secure, an extra layer of payment security when shopping online. Cardholders may be prompted to enter a one-time password, which will be sent to your cellphone number. It's important that we have your cellphone number on file in our system; otherwise, the transaction will fail! You can update your cellphone number by logging into online banking or calling the credit union.
- CardValet® is no longer available, and we'll soon switch to CardNav®. When it becomes available, we'll notify you. Then you can download the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and register as a new user to set up alerts and controls. Anyone can set up CardNav to enjoy purchase notifications, card controls and more! This will be available by February 2025. Until then, you can manage your card through online banking's Account Alerts and Card Management sections.
- After Monday, Sept. 30, your MasterCard debit card will no longer work. Destroy it as soon as you activate your Visa debit card.
As more details become available, we’ll share them in your inbox, mailbox and here on this page. We appreciate your patience while we make these transitions!
